About The PMU Clinic

Founded in 2024 by Zoe Miles, The PMU Clinic was established to meet the growing demand for personalised, science-led hair regrowth therapies. The clinic combines in-house expertise in hair loss management with advanced aesthetic and micropigmentation treatments, offering clients a truly integrated approach to hair restoration and confidence renewal.

Meet Zoe 

Zoe brings a distinctive blend of creativity and scientific understanding to her work. Having studied Fine Art and Biology at college, she went on to earn a BSc in Psychology in 2007. Her early career was spent in the mental health sector, where she specialised in supporting homeless ex-service men and women living with PTSD. Throughout this time, art remained an important personal outlet — both creative and therapeutic.

In 2017, Zoe made the decision to pursue a new path, training in Permanent Make-Up. She later achieved a Level 3 VTCT qualification in Anatomy & Physiology and advanced aesthetic treatments in 2019, building a strong foundation for her clinical practice.

Following her relocation from Surrey to Dorset in 2024, Zoe opened The PMU Clinic and undertook further training in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP). It was during this time that she recognised the profound connection between hair loss and mental health — an insight that continues to shape her practice and her professional partnerships. Her enduring commitment to helping others has inspired her to continue her professional development, and she is currently training to become a Clinical Trichologist.

By combining her technical expertise, scientific knowledge, and empathetic understanding of her clients’ motivations, Zoe offers a uniquely holistic and honest approach to treatment — one that empowers individuals to achieve the best possible results, both aesthetically and emotionally.
